Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-23113-05 limit switch is an HVAC part that is used in systems and can reset itself to a position that will avoid dangers when temperatures are certain. The normally closed auto reset limit switch of this type of switch is set at 110°F for the closed position and 190°F for the open position. This is achieved by interruption of the electrical circuit in the situation where the temperature of the device starts to go up and therefore, does not heat. Due to this single pole single throw arrangement, along with 230 V voltage, it can be used in several HVAC applications like heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioners. This automatically resets the switch and hence does not require the user to reset the switch, and this in turn increases the duration and reliability of the systems.
