Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-102709-10 Ambient Sensor is a temperature detector used in HVAC systems to check the air conditions and give proper thermal information to system controls. The sensor also has an ability to detect temperature change and it records the change in temperature along its 32 inch lead and converts it to a signal which is sent to the control board. The component helps in stabilizing system response by giving correct temperature in the control of equipment in air handlers, heat pumps, and packaged rooftop units.
