The Rheem-Ruud 43-17075-12 Start Capacitor is a start up capacitor which is used to improve the starting torque of electric motors used in HVAC appliances such as air conditioners and heat pumps. This capacitor is suitable for applications that require high reliability of motor start-up as it has capacitance 161-193μF /250V. This start capacitor is easy to fix has enough power to enhance the motor efficiency. The start capacitor is mainly used to provide the motor with the correct phase shift and current when the motor is first started. It also helps the motor to achieve the required amount of torque to overcome the starting load and then reach its no-load speed.
