Description
The Rheem-Ruud 42-18282-26 Start Relay, essential part for high-performance functions of HVAC systems. This start relay enables the right functioning of the compressors to begin by regulating the flow of the current. It works efficiently with cold pickup voltage range of 133-142V and hot pickup voltage range of 140-150V thus ensuring that the relay triggers the compressor at the right time. The relay has a dropout voltage range of 40-90V; this means that once the compressor is turned off the relay opens, and there is no energy wastage. Designed to perform in standard working environment, this relay is designed for 60 Hz frequency.
