Description
The Rheem-Ruud 42-102072-27 Pressure Switch Assembly is one of those parts that keep and enhance the functionality of HVAC systems. It is intended to measure the system pressure status at the high and low pressure ranges of 2. 20% and 5% of the samples’ height which is 45” and 1. 5” respectively. The assembly works on the basis of feedback, namely, it constantly measures the pressure in the heating or cooling system. When the pressure goes high or low of the specified limit, the switch turns off the circuit and this prevents further damaging of machines or any other related hitches. Its purpose is to regulate the pressure and, when the pressure returns to a normal level, the switch enables the system to continue its functioning. It can be applied to different Rheem and Ruud HVAC systems and provides such essentialadvantages as equipment protection, compressor safeguard, and increased system reliability.
