The Reznor 214592 is a 115-volt venter assembly designed for Reznor gas-fired heating equipment including furnaces and unit heaters. It serves as an essential safety feature, guaranteeing the effective and safe removal of hazardous combustion byproducts from the heating system. Natural gas or propane fuel is burned in a combustion chamber to produce heat and flue gases when the heating device is in operation. The heat exchanger in the heating unit follows pre-designated paths as the hot exhaust gases and combustion byproducts move through. The Reznor 214592 attaches to the heating equipment’s exhaust outlet and uses a built-in fan that is supplied by a 115-volt electrical source to compel hot gases to be released through the vent assembly.
