Description
The Resideo 960 Surface Mount Magnetic Contact is designed to provide a secure and durable way to monitor HVAC system enclosures, access points or panels. It work by sensing an interruption of the magnetic field when doors or panels are opened or closed. When the magnet is out of the contact, the circuit is interrupted and an alarm is given to the HVAC control system. It is for surface mounting, has a 3 feet cable, is capable of working in low temperatures of -40°F to high temperatures of 194°F and has a silver finish. It is most suitable for HVAC systems such as air handlers and rooftop units to improve security and operation.
