Description
The Ranco RSG-3S Refrigerant Line Sight Glass is a moisture and liquid indicator that provides visual monitoring of refrigeration fluid condition in the liquid line in HVAC systems. It is installed downstream of the filter drier, where it allows for observing whether the cooling fluid is fully liquid, contains bubbles, or has elevated moisture levels that could affect system performance. The sight glass uses a color-change indicator to signal acceptable or excessive moisture conditions. It is fitted in 3/8″X3/8″ ODF solder connections and operates as a monitoring component during operation, maintenance, and evaporator charging procedures.
