Description
The Nu-Calgon 5010-21 NuStart Compressor Soft Starter RLA is a control component that reduces electrical and mechanical pressure on compressors during start-up by controlling inrush current in HVAC systems. It operates by adjusting the voltage to the compressor motor between 16- 32 amps at 230 VAC single-phase power, which gives a smoother change of speed and a lower load. This electrical connection panel of the compressor is connected to the existing control circuits. It is compatible with regular residential and commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems.
