The NTI Boiler 6000085281 Cleaning Gasket is a sealing element that is applied to hydronic heating HVAC boiler in maintenance and cleaning process. It is mainly used to provide a close fit between the boiler access cover and the surfaces of the internal chamber to avoid leakage when the unit is reassembled after servicing. It operates by pressing the gasket material between the surfaces to create a safe barrier against heat, pressure and byproducts of combustion. Installation is done at the cleaning access point of compatible TFT VM153 and MID boiler models. In hydronic boiler HVAC systems, the gasket helps in proper sealing, safe running and efficient performance of the system.
