The Nordyne 903478 Heat Exchangers are critical components of HVAC systems, particularly furnaces. It is used to transfer heat formed in a combustion chamber to the air that circulates within the house. This component may consist of metal, Aluminum or steel for most of its body and can come with fins on its exterior for heat transfer purposes. This heat makes the metal to heat up. When the air from the residence flows over the heat exchanger, it warms up because it has picked heat from the chilly air. This heated air is then circulated within the rooms, throughout the house in order to giving the comfort of heat.
