Description
The Nordyne 664346 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is the key component of air conditioning system and heat pump that use R-410A as refrigerant. This valve regulates influx of coolant into evaporator coil leading to optimum cooling performance. The TEV detects ambient temperature of the outcoming coolant from evaporator and adjusts its opening accordingly. This maintains desired superheat in refrigerant while preventing entry of liquid part into compressor which results into damages.
