Description
The Nordyne 1044112 Inverter Driver is made of stainless steel for 4-ton HVAC systems. It controls the electrical frequency that is supplied to the compressor motor and therefore can function as an inverter driver to allow speed control. This level of control helps put cooler output depending on the load required leading to high energy efficiency and low energy use. Apart from eliminating the hard start and stop, the inverter driver also reduces the noise level and increases the compressor’s longevity. This part is applied in the outdoor unit of split system air conditioners or heat pumps which use an inverter.
