The Nordyne 1003109 Inshot Burner introduces a high-velocity stream of gas and combustion air directly into the front face of the heat exchanger tube, producing a flame that travels the full length of the tube and transfers heat evenly across the exchanger surface. As gas exits the burner port and the venturi profile draw primary air into the fuel stream before ignition, establishing the air-to-fuel mixture required for complete combustion. Mounted within the compartment of gas furnaces and forced-air HVAC systems, it slides into the manifold port and aligns with the heat exchanger tube inlet through the burner units.
