Description
The Nidec-Embraco NT6222GKV1 is a single-phase, 1-horsepower hermetic compressor intended for commercial refrigeration applications. It uses R404A refrigerant, a popular option for medium-temperature commercial refrigeration systems, and runs on a normal 115-volt power source. The motor and compressor components of hermetic compressors, such as the NT6222GKV1, are housed in a single unit to their sealed casing. This design lessens the possibility of leaks and makes installation easier. Refrigerant vapor at low pressure is drawn into the compressor, compressed, and then expelled at high pressure. After being compressed, the heated gas passes through the condenser coils of the refrigeration system, where it loses heat and condenses back into a liquid state.
