Description
The Nidec-Embraco NT6220GKV2 is a 3/4 horsepower compressor intended for use in a variety of refrigeration systems, such as commercial refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners. It runs on single-phase power between 208 and 230 volts and uses R404A refrigerant, which is a popular option for medium-temperature applications. For this compressor to work, low-pressure refrigerant gas must be drawn in, compressed by a sequence of pistons or scrolls, and then released at a higher temperature and pressure. The refrigeration cycle ends there as the compressed refrigerant flows through the system, releasing heat through the condenser coils and absorbing heat from the air around it through the evaporator coils.
