Description
The Mueller Industries AE15504 is a 1/2” x 5/8” NPTFE straight-through pressure relief valve that helps protect piping systems and equipment for HVAC applications against pressure build-up. It serves the role of a safety device in that it opens to let product that builds up beyond a certain level escape and then closes as soon as the pressure drops below this level. This critical feature avoids pipe bursts, equipment damage, and injuries that would be as a result of exceeding the pressure limit of the system. It prevents the damage of other delicate components in the HVAC system by reducing pressure.
