Description
The Modine 5H0794410002 SPST Pressure Switch responds to air pressure changes within combustion and airflow pathways to regulate electrical circuit switching. It operates through a single-pole single-throw configuration that changes contact state when pressure reaches the calibrated 70-inch water column threshold in HVAC systems. The switch is positioned near inducer and venting sections where airflow pressure directly affects operating conditions and control response. Its pressure-sensitive mechanism maintains controlled circuit activation, provides for monitored airflow verification, and allows for stable heating system operation under specified pressure conditions.
