Description
The Maxon 1115240 Ignitor is used to activate the ignition of burners by generating a controlled spark or heat source to be used with compatible combustion assemblies in HVAC applications. It is linked to the burner control circuit and it is placed close to the fuel outlet to ignite the mixture of air and fuel during the startup. This is made to be resistant to repetitive heating processes but still produce a consistent output. The correct positioning of the burner housing assists in the proper timing of ignition.
