Description
Marvair 20366 Thermal Expansion Valve controls the flow of refrigerant to ensure appropriate superheat, and balanced cooling operation. Known as a TXV that is used in HVAC systems it offers controlled metering of refrigerant depending on the system. It operates by detecting changes in temperature and pressure at the evaporator outlet and adjusting the valve opening via an internal diaphragm system. It is installed at the evaporator inlet and interfaces with the refrigerant lines, liquid and suction. Its operation assists in enhancing the heat transfer, averting coil imbalance and ensuring uniformity in the system performance.
