Description
The MARS 61745 Two-Pole Definite Purpose Contactor closes a pair of high-voltage load circuits simultaneously whenever the 24-volt control coil receives a signal from the thermostat or sequencer. Rated at 30 amps full-load inductive and 40 amps resistive at 50/60 Hz, each pole carries line-side power through copper and brass conductors to the compressor and condenser fan motor within refrigeration, air conditioning, and electric heating equipment in HVAC systems. Box lug terminations on the load side accept larger gauge field wiring, while four quick-connect tabs per pole on the coil side accommodate both spade connectors and stripped lead ends without additional adapters.
