Description
The MARS 11089 Capacitor is a motor run capacitor that is used to stabilize the voltage and increase the power factor of the electric motors in the HVAC systems. It has 400-480 VAC, 250/220V to fit in blower, condenser fan, and compressor motors on packaged, split, and rooftop units. It is fitted in motor control circuits to regularize the currents and minimize electrical stresses during operation. The capacitor provides constant operation of the motor, provides efficiency to the rotational torque, and was once used to provide airflow and cooling capacity in air conditioning systems.
