Description
Markel Products Co. 60149051 Auto Reset Hi-Limit Switch functions as a vital safety mechanism that protects HVAC systems with electric furnaces and baseboard heaters. The safety mechanism shuts off the heating element automatically at 165°F because it operates as a temperature sensor to protect against overheating.when the temperature level reaches below it automatically reacts to its normal operating state enabling the heating element to start working. The automatic reset mechanism functions without human help to keep heating systems operational while maintaining safety standards. The switch operates through temperature detection which causes it to cut off electrical power to the heating element.
