Description
Manitowoc Ice 2006569 Contactor functions as a vital electrical component that serves multiple ice machines and refrigeration HVAC systems. The 1-pole contactor operates at 25 amps using 120V power and functions. As a remotely operated part, the contactor functions as a switch to control electrical circuits safely. The control voltage of a small magnitude applied to the contactor coil generates an electromagnetic field. An electromagnetic field created by this field pulls the contactor’s internal contacts to completion which enables current flow to the connected load. The removal of the control voltage causes the contacts to separate the flow of electricity through the circuit.
