This gasket measures 4mm in thickness, 121mm in outer diameter to fit the burner assembly tightly with no danger of leakage. Its main purpose is to form a tight fit between the burner and the combustion chamber. This helps avoid air infiltration which betterly reduces the efficiency of the heating system by allowing the exhaust gases to escape and drawing fresh fuel, which may not be burnt properly and therefore increases the emissions.
