Description
The Littelfuse PLS240A Reverse Phase Relay monitors electrical power to detect reverse phase conditions and phase loss, allowing it to maintain proper motor rotation and system operation. It is commonly used in HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, industrial compressors, pump and other three-phase installations where the proper phase sequence is essential. Within the equipment the relay continuously checks the incoming power supply and interrupts the control circuit when an unsafe phase condition is detected, assisting to prevent operational issues, equipment damage, and sudden downtime caused by incorrect electrical connections.
