The Littelfuse LSRX Load Sensor is a self powered AC sensor that is used to measure loads from 5 to 200 Amps. It works based on energizing its output contact in case there is a current of 4.5 Amps or more; it is commonly used in HVAC systems where it locks fans, compressors, and motors. The part integrates an existing current transformer and relays into a single package, which makes it possible to get rid of control voltage and current transformers.
