Description
The Lennox 69W51 Orifice Plate Gasket is a relatively small part but is an essential part of Lennox’s gas furnaces. It provides a close fit around the orifice plate which is an accurate flow controlling device known as the burner. This seal also serves to minimise risks of flammable gas leakage thus allowing safe and efficient operation. This seal can be threatened by a worn-out or damaged gasket, and this brings several issues. Free flow of the gas results to occurrence of known problems such as low efficiency, and wastage of fuel due to leakage and incomplete combustion. In worse case scenarios, leaks of the gas can be lethal.
