The Lennox 42W16 Vent Extension Kit is designed to solve problems that occur when a Lennox furnace’s exhaust vent outlet is in proximity to fresh air intakes. This can be against building codes or result in ice build up on the intake. The kit contains all the necessary parts to raise the exhaust vent pipe up to 3 feet above the unit. It includes vent transition piece, tee fitting, drain cap, brackets, straps, screws, nuts, lock washers, and gasket. The kit maintains the right division between exhaust and intake vents to allow safe and efficient usage of your Lennox furnace. It is relatively easy to manage during installation.
