Description
The Lennox 23V79 programmed Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) to be used in specific Lennox HVAC systems only. It supersedes the existing PSC motors and comes with different benefits. The programmable feature enables the speed-control of the device from 0 to 1100 RPMs. This means that the motor can automatically speed so as to provide the desired heating and cooling therefore increasing efficiency and comfort. Also, the ECM motors are less noisy compared to the PSC motors are less noisy as well. The 23V79 is a 3/4 HP single phase motor which requires a frequency of 60Hz.
