The Lennox 18L12 is a conversion kit furnace that was originally intended for use with natural gas but is optimized for use with liquid propane gas. This small kit includes the following parts which are used to set your furnace for the different characteristics of propane gas. It may have parts for the modification of the gas burner to suit the burning of propane gas appropriately. This is because while propane gas contains more BTU as a fuel, and its burning characteristics are different from those of natural gas, these adjustments are essential for operation efficiency as well as safety.
