Lennox 17F18 Collector Box Kit gathers liquid condensate and combustion flues generated during the heating process in high-efficiency furnaces. Installed directly onto the surface of the secondary heat exchanger inside heating units in HVAC systems, the enclosure forms a sealed collection chamber. As hot flue gases cool, the box channels acidic water droplets and combustion byproducts down toward the furnace condensate drain trap. Directing exhaust liquids into the drainage network prevents acidic fluid accumulation, maintains proper draft passages, and supports safe heating sequence execution.
