Description
The Lennox 13R81 High-Pressure Switch Kit is an essential control component used in air conditioning and heat pump system to monitor refrigerant discharge pressure and protect the compressor from overpressure conditions. It is installed in outdoor condensing units where it senses high-side system pressure and opens the control circuit when pressure exceeds safe operating limits. This action shuts down the compressor to prevent mechanical damage and system failure. The kit is used during install or replacement in HVAC systems to ensure safe pressure regulation, reliable system protection, and stable cooling operation under varying load conditions.
