The International Comfort Products 1192615 Inverter Kit is a variable-frequency drive unit that changes, the speed of compressor and fan motors in accordance with HVAC systems. It adjusts incoming electrical power to give fine control of frequency and voltage to allow the system to adjust the capacity and enhance part-load efficiency. It is installed in the electrical compartment of the outdoor unit and is connected to the system control board and wiring harness. It facilitates an easier start, less power use, and better temperature control in 4-ton residential and light-commercial air-conditioning and heat pump systems with inverter-driven operation capabilities.
