Description
The International Comfort Products 1191181 Thermostatic Expansion Valve(TXV) is applied in HVAC systems for controlling the refrigerant to control the flow of coolant. The TXV operates based on temperature control. A temperature bulb is provided on the valve to measure the temperature of the evaporator. When the temperature changes, the pressure inside the bulb influences the operation of the valve. When the evaporator load increases the temperature decreases and therefore the bulb pressure decreases. Then this action opens the valve and allows more coolant to flow to evaporator increases the cooling capacity.
