The International Comfort Products 1188265 Insulation Support Assembly is a part that is intended to firmly support insulation on HVAC equipment including ducts, pipes and fittings. It usually has a metallic or plastic body and a clip or bracket that may be screwed on the exterior of the equipment. Insulation is then fitted into the clip or bracket so that it does not come off easily from its place. This allows for adequate coverage of insulation reducing on or heat loss and heat gain increases its efficiency of the HVAC system.
