Description
The International Comfort Products 1185843 1/2HP Blower Motor Control Module X-13 is an electronic control unit that drives and controls an electronically commutated blower motor in HVAC systems. It reads signals on the system control board voltage and commutation timing for the motor to allow variable speed and torque to be met. It is installed in the blower compartment as part of the HVAC system in furnaces and air handlers, and connects to the control harness. It controls the operation effectiveness in airflow, reduces noise, and improves part-load performance within the system.
