Description
The International Comfort Products 1183750 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil, depending on cooling demand of HVAC units. It monitors the fluctuation in refrigerant temperature and pressure to adjust the expansion of refrigerant so that the right quantity is added to the system to absorb the heat efficiently. This TXV is installed between the evaporator and the condenser to ensure that the superheat is maintained, to protect the compressor, and to ensure that the cooling performance is consistent.
