Description
The International Comfort Products 1174420 Secondary Heat Exchanger is an accessory of the gas boilers of the package. It works in a way that it absorbs heat from the primary heat exchanger and blows it into the air within your house. This additional heat exchanger is very helpful in heating efficiency and the frequency of temperature cycling. It is normally made from solid parts in order to withstand heat and pressure necessary for heating. Hence, this second heat exchanger improves the effectiveness of your gas furnace and therefore the use of energy and costs in heating.
