Description
The HTP 7250P-279 Munchkin Hot Surface Ignitor initiates the ignition sequence by producing the high temperature required to turn on the fuel and air mixture in HVAC systems. Electrical energy heats the element until the required ignition temperature is reached, allowing combustion to begin at the appropriate stage of operation. Installed near the burner section, the component works with adjoining combustion and control assemblies to complete the startup process. It supports proper ignition, controlled combustion initiation, balanced heat generation, responsive startup sequencing, and coordinated equipment operation.
