The Honeywell Thermal Solutions R7851C1008 Dynamic Self-Check Flame Amplifier with C7961 UV Flame Detector is a flame monitoring unit that confirms the presence of a stable flame by processing ultraviolet signals of the detector in HVAC systems in commercial burners, boilers and heating equipment. It operates by increasing and assessing sensor signals, and transmitting flame status to the control system to operate safely. It has a selectable flame failure response time of 2.0 or 3.0 seconds and self-checking of the circuit continuously, which ensures consistent detection, allows shutdown in unsafe conditions, and allows stable burner operation.
