Description
The Honeywell HVFD2D3C0020E2 is a variable frequency drive intended for use with three-phase electric motors in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. It can manage motors with a maximum horsepower of two horsepower and runs on 380–480 volts. VFDs enable accurate speed control of the associated motor, in contrast to conventional on/off controls. To do this, incoming AC electricity is converted to DC and then returned to AC at a frequency that may be adjusted. The VFD can regulate the frequency to control the motor’s speed. Through efficient motor speed control for varying cooling or heating loads, the VFD may effectively save energy usage and operational expenses.
