This 4 oz. compound enhances the accuracy of the sensor by eliminating air between surfaces. It fills such tiny spaces to establish a conductive pathway for heat transfer from sensor lines to pipes. After it is applied, it retains an even uniformity of thermal conductivity, not drying or hardening with age.
