Description
The General Electric Products WR09X30949 Refrigerator Thermostat is a cold control component that regulates internal cabinet temperature by switching the compressor circuit on and off based on sensed conditions. It uses a temperature-sensitive mechanism that respond to changes inside of the refrigerator compartment and maintains the set cooling range by controlling compressor cycling. It is installed within the temperature control assembly, where it interacts with the user-adjustable dial and electrical wiring harness. It maintain stable food storage temperatures by ensuring the cooling system operates only when required and pauses once the desired internal temperature is reached.
