Description
The Friedrich Air Conditioning 61871500 Motor 2 10P 2 RAC is an electric motor used in driving fan assemblies in room air conditioning units. The 400-watt electronically commutated motor (ECM) is used to supply regulated rotating output to operate the blower or fan wheel to move air over the cooling coil and through the air pathway of HVAC systems. It is characterized by a counterclockwise (CCW) rotation configuration that is consistent with the orientation of the fan assembly of the equipment. It is located in the air handling section of the unit, and provides the rotational force needed to maintain the airflow.
