The First Company 9EVR32-3 Thermostatic Expansion Valve Kit is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator by adjusting the volume according to the element and is often installed in cooling units of HVAC systems to allow them to be controlled. It works by detecting the temperature and pressure conditions to keep the superheat in check and provide effective heat exchange. With a rated capacity of 2.5 tons and able to operate with R3 and A2L refrigerants, it is connected at the evaporator inlet to ensure precise control of the flow.
