Description
The First Company 941-1 Freeze Protector 4″ X 7″ X 5-1/2″ monitors low-temperature conditions to prevent coil freezing and potential damage during cooling operations. Its temperature-responsive sensing mechanism detects freezing conditions and interrupts or adjusts system operation when temperatures drop below safe operating limits within HVAC systems such as fan coil units, air handlers, chilled water equipment, and hydronic cooling assemblies. This freeze protector is mounted near coils or airflow sections where temperature monitoring is required for equipment protection. Its responsive control action reduces the coil icing.
