Description
The Field Controls SWG-6 Power Venter is a combustion air and exhaust control unit used to assist fuel-burning appliances by supplying combustion air, and removing flue gases in HVAC systems. Its main purpose is to establish, and maintain a draft through managed airflow, where an electric motor-driven fan overcomes resistance in the venting passages. It is interconnected to electrical, and control circuits according to the specifications of the system. It is used in residential, and light commercial heating systems to assist in stabilizing combustion, and to aid in the consistent operation of furnaces or boilers.
