The Field Controls GVD-10PL Automatic Vent Damper is a motorized control Part designed to regulate flue airflow and reduce standby heat loss in HVAC systems. This 10-inch round damper installs in vent piping and operates on a 24-volt , 60Hz control circuit commonly used with gas-fired heating equipment. The internal actuator opens the blade during a call for heat and closes it during off cycles, with typical movement completed in about 15 seconds. Installed on boilers and furnaces, it helps improve draft control, energy efficiency.
