The Field Controls 2724001 6″ Vent Damper MG1 regulates airflow through the venting system to improve combustion efficiency and reduce unnecessary heat loss during equipment operation. It automatically opens and closes at appropriate stages of the heating cycle assisting in maintaining proper draft conditions for safe and efficient performance. Commonly installed in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, it is used with compatible conventional gas-fired furnaces boilers, and water heaters.
